We only require the minimum permissions needed for the Bot to do its job.
Specifically, we ask permissions to do the following:
Verify your identity
Get your workspace's number of human users.
Grab your conversations history in order to track the questions you ask. Your messages stay on Slack's server. We don't store any message data and no humans can see any of your messages, ever.
Store your messages.
Store any personal information that is not required for the functioning of the bot without your permission.
DM or email users that are not users of our service or have not expressely approved to be contacted by us.
The bot will communicate with the installing user through the App Home and the Messages tab.
We may email the installing user for information regarding the trial period or our paid subscriptions
The bot will introduce itself publicly to any channel that it is added to, so that the workspace users may learn about it and start using it.
Finally, the bot will respond to the /followupbot command and commands that begin with /followupbot (i.e. "/followupbot help", etc.)
In order to purchase a subscription, you need to "Sign in with Slack". This creates an account on the followupbot website.
By using the website, you acknowledge that we may contact you at your email address for matters relating to your account and for marketing materials (if opted in).
You agree to fair use of the service.
Any breach of the terms of service will result in the termination of your account and your access to our services will be discontinued effective immediately regardless of subscription status.
You acknowledge and agree that we may amend these Terms of Service at any time by posting the amended and restated terms on this website.
You expressly understand and agree that, to the extent permitted by applicable laws, Follow Up Bot shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data or other intangible losses resulting from the use of or inability to use the Follow Up Bot service.
Your use of the Follow Up Bot services is at your sole risk. The Follow Up Bot services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without any warranty or condition, express, implied or statutory.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through Stripe's "Manage Billing" portal. Furthermore, you may cancel your website account and terminate the Terms of Service at any time by contacting us directly.
When you visit our website, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as "Device Information."

"Log Files" track actions occurring on the Site, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.

Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or another lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.
We do not alter our website's data collection when we see a Do Not Track signal from your browser.
If you are a resident of the European Union, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. To do so, please contact us directly.
When you place an order through our website, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.

We only collect the least amount of data we need in order to provide our service, and we will remove all the data relative to your workspace within 12 months of Follow Up Bot being uninstalled.
However, if you would like us to delete all of your data before then, please contact us via our support page or by sending an email directly at hello [at] followupbot [dot] io and we will do so within 3 business days.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.
Prices for using the Follow Up Bot services are subject to change upon 30 days notice. Such notice may be provided at any time by posting the changes to our website and/or by contacting existing customers.
Follow Up Bot reserves the right at any time, and from time to time, to modify or discontinue, the Follow Up Bot services (or any part thereof) with or without notice.
Follow Up Bot shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of the Service.
